‘Bowling along’ was made, together with the music,
entirely on my computer.
The matchstick man was a rotoscoped version
of me walking !
‘Red Type’ was the first animated film to be made
typed directly onto paper cells. A tiny needle was
used to pierce two small holes in each paper cell
for registration under the camera rostrum.
This film was made
during the
cold war !
‘Black Type.‘ This the second animated film
made using paper cells all typed out on a typewriter.
Both these typewritten films have been shown
on British TV.
Animation animates any mate!
"Watch the Birdie" has always been a favourite of mine and the maker, Geof Caudwell, a member of Derby Moviemakers, has kindly agreed for it to be shown here.
Just watch that bird strut his stuff!
