‘I of a needle’ was photographed long before we had home computers, so how was it done? Two photos were taken, one of my face and the other a close up of the needle eye both on 35mm slides.
Two projectors were then set up in front of a white screen and the two images projected, their relative sizes being adjusted to get the picture you see.
This was then re photographed to produce the composite image.
