A bricked up window is of little photographic interest, a common burglar alarm box on the wall of a house even less so. But put them together and it’s rather like, one plus one being equal to three!
Is the burglar alarmed at seeing bricked up window, or is the alarm superfluous?
I was attracted to the plain pattern that the repaired fence made in, “Repair,” the brickwork adding a useful base colour on which the fence stood.
I guess that, “It’s Curtains for you,” would not mean anything without the help of old American gangster’s expressions. It’s curtains for the house too!
My flash fill in is always set on auto, as these photographs have more to do with ideas rather than images of great composition and lighting.
